Ingredients
- 300g oats
- 100g - 150g mixed chopped nuts; I used a mix of almonds and hazelnuts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 80g browned butter, melted and cooled
- 150g maple syrup
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180
- Mix oats, nuts, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl
- Stir together all the wet ingredients then mix into the oat mixture
- Spread onto a prepared baking tray
- Bake for 10 minutes at 180 then reduce oven to 150 and bake another 10 minutes until golden
- Let cool and break apart.
